About Role<\/h4>\n

Position<\/strong>:\u00a0Data and Operations Intern<\/p>\n

Reporting to<\/strong>:\u00a0Director of Innovation<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>:\u00a0Nairobi<\/p>\n

Role type<\/strong>:\u00a0Fixed Term (6 Months)<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Director of Innovation, the Data and Operations Intern will be responsible for creating reports, analyzing data, and providing near real-time insights to evaluate trial performance and identify areas for improvement. This is a fixed term role for 6 months.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Data Analysis: Analyze operational and trial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.<\/li>\n
  • Reporting: Create and maintain regular reports on trial performance, sales, customer conversion, and other key metrics.<\/li>\n
  • Real-Time Insights: Provide near real-time analysis and insights to support decision-making and adjustments to ongoing trials. Examples include but are not limited to:\n
      \n
    • Sales Outlet Analysis: Identify potential new sales outlets and analyze the number of additional customers that could be reached.<\/li>\n
    • Customer Conversion Analysis: Analyze customer data to identify which types of customers convert and which do not, providing insights into why.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Data Updates: Ensure data accuracy and update databases as needed.<\/li>\n
    • Problem Solving: Identify and address data discrepancies and operational issues.<\/li>\n
    • Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of data analysis and reporting processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/h4>\n

      • A Bachelor's Degree in a Data or Data Science related field.<\/li>\n
      • Proven track record of translating data into actionable insights.<\/li>\n
      • Self-starter with an internal drive to find meaningful information from data.<\/li>\n
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).<\/li>\n
