Our mission is simple: to showcase, empower, connect, and drive growth across the agribusiness value chain by making it easier for farmers, agronomists, agrovets, fruit exporters, apiarists and other stakeholders to collaborate and thrive.<\/p>\n

Your Role & Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n

As our IT Intern, your work goes beyond fixing computers or resetting passwords.<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for strengthening our platform\u2019s stability, supporting development tasks, ensuring secure operations, and improving the overall tech environment behind ekarihub.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Provide day-to-day IT support for the ekarihub mobile and web platform<\/li>\n
  • Assist in system maintenance, updates, and performance optimization<\/li>\n
  • Support the development team in testing new features, identifying bugs, and documenting issues<\/li>\n
  • Monitor platform performance, uptime, and user technical feedback<\/li>\n
  • Help manage databases, backups, API connections, and integrations<\/li>\n
  • Offer support in cybersecurity, user access control, and data protection<\/li>\n
  • Assist in setting up devices, networks, and internal IT tools<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with product and tech teams to ensure smooth functionality<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues<\/li>\n
  • Propose tech improvements, automation ideas, and efficiency solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h4>\n

    To thrive in this role, you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and hardware<\/li>\n
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Python, HTML\/CSS)<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with databases (MySQL, SQL, Firebase, etc.)<\/li>\n
    • Experience with mobile or web platforms is an added advantage<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and testing tools<\/li>\n
    • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities<\/li>\n
    • Diploma\/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field<\/li>\n
    • Previous internship\/experience in tech support or software development is a plus<\/li>\n
