ETHICS AND VALUES OFFICER II \u2013 SIX (6) POSTS- V\/NO. 192\/2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gross Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 102,611 \u2013 177,467 p.m. (PSC 9)
\nLeave Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh. 35,000 per financial year
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the PSC medical cover
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable.<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment:<\/h4>\n

For appointment, a candidate must have:<\/p>\n

(i) a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Economics, peace and conflict management or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.
\n(ii) proficiency in computer applications and data analytics
\n(iii) proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages
\n(iv) excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
\n(v) good report writing skills.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

(i) providing guidance on the use of the digital records management system for financial disclosure of income, assets and liabilities to assigned institutions;
\n(ii) collecting, collating data and preparing reports on compliance to Financial Declaration of income, Assets and Liabilities by public officers for assigned institutions;
\n(iii) compiling and analysing complaints on breach of the Code of Conduct, Values and Principles in the public service\u2019;
\n(iv) participating in the preparation of survey instruments on compliance evaluation with values and principles (Article 10 and 232) in the public service;
\n(v) participating in administration of survey instruments to MDAs on compliance evaluation with values and principles in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution;
\n(vi) participating in data cleaning, verification, standardisation and analysis from the survey on compliance evaluation on values and principles in Article 10 and 232;
\n(vii) participating in preparation of report to the president and parliament on the status of compliance with values and principles in Article 10 and 232 in the public service
\n(viii) participation in promotional activities on values, principles, ethics and declaration of income assets and liabilities including training and sensitisation;
\n(ix) initial follow up action on implementation of recommendations from the status of compliance with the values and principles report and declaration of income assets and liabilities reports; and
