The Public Service Commission seeks a driven Policy Analyst <\/strong>ready to make a tangible impact on Kenya\u2019s public administration landscape. Gross Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 102, 611 p.m. \u2013 177,467 p.m. (PSC 9)
\nLeave Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh. 35,000 per financial year
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the PSC medical cover
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable.<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment:<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:<\/p>\n

(i) a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Sociology or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya; and
\n(ii) proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., e.g. Excel, SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, Eviews, nvivo, Atlas).<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

(i) conducting desktop reviews, literature searches, and surveys to gather data on emerging trends in public administration, human resource management, and governance;
\n(ii) assisting in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to identify policy gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in the public service;
\n(iii) supporting the drafting of policy briefs, concept papers, circulars, and guidelines under the guidance of senior officers;
\n(iv) assisting in monitoring the implementation of Commission policies across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and collecting feedback for review;
\n(v) assisting in organizing and documenting stakeholder forums, workshops, and public participation exercises related to policy development;
\n(vi) preparing routine reports on specific policy areas, tracking key performance indicators and compliance levels in MDAs; and
