\nSTATE DEPARTMENT FOR DEVOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

DEVOLUTION II \u2013 THREE (3) POSTS- V\/NO. 203\/2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: 34,420- 46,120 p.m. (CSC 11)
\nHouse Allowance <\/strong>Ksh. 10,000 p.m.
\nLeave Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh. 4,000 per financial year
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable.<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment:<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Education, Entrepreneurship, Political Science or its equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

Duties and responsibilities include:-<\/p>\n

(i) implementing policies, strategies, guidelines and other relevant frameworks pertaining to devolution;
\n(ii) collecting and compiling data on emerging issues on programmes, policies, laws, regulations and guidelines on devolution;
\n(iii) updating the status of devolution programs and projects;
\n(iv) compiling data on intergovernmental disputes; and
