STATE DEPARTMENT FOR LANDS AND PHYSICAL PLANNING <\/strong><\/p>\n

LANDS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER II\u2013TWENTY (20) POSTS\u2013 V\/NO. 204\/2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 41,420-Ksh 57,230 p.m. (CSG 10)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 9,600-KSH 16,500 p.m.
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 5,000 p.m.
\nLeave Allowance<\/strong>: As provided in the Civil Service
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the Government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and pensionable<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment:<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors \u00a0Degree in any of the following fields: Law (LLB), Geomatics Engineering, Land Economics, Geospatial Information Systems, Geographical Information System, Environmental Planning and Management, Geospatial Engineering, Land Survey, Land Administration, Geography, Photogrammetry, Urban and Regional Planning, Computer Science\/ICT, Software Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science or its equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

This is an entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-<\/p>\n

(i) implementing standards and guidelines for NLIM System;
\n(ii) developing NLIMS modules and applications;
\n(iii) collecting requirements for integration of land information;
\n(iv) installing, configuring and troubleshooting NLIM System and infrastructure;
\n(v) maintaining NLIM implementation;
\n(vi) implementing security measures by defining and restricting users access on the NLIM System;
\n(vii) collecting data on user needs for the integrated payment gateway for land transactions;
\n(viii) registering and updating of NLIMS users; and
