The GoK State Department for Lands and Physical Planning is actively seeking a motivated Land Records Management Assistant III<\/strong> to join their Nairobi team. LAND RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT III\u2013 FIFTY FIVE (55) POSTS -V\/NO.205\/2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 28,620 p.m \u2013 Ksh 37,100 p.m. (CSG 12)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 3850 p.m. \u2013 Ksh 6750 p.m.
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 4,000 p.m.
\nLeave allowance<\/strong>: As provided in the Civil Service
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment:<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines:- Law, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Management Information Systems (MIS), Records Management\/ Records and Archives Management, Information Science, Business Information Technology, or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized Institution.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

This is the entry and training grade for diploma holders. An officer at this level will be under the supervisions and guidance of a senior and experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-<\/p>\n

(i) receiving and booking documents for land registration;
\n(ii) receiving and booking land searches;
\n(iii) receiving land registration related documents emanating from other Departments and MDAs;
\n(iv) receiving application documents of stamp duty payments;
\n(v) retrieving and matching registration documents;
\n(vi) retrieving and archiving parcel files;
\n(vii) dispatching registered and rejected documents and searches to the clients; and
