It offers competency-based training that equips trainees with practical, industry-aligned skills needed to participate effectively in Kenya's labour market and beyond. TVET GRADUATE ASSISTANT - PERIOPERATIVE THEATRE TECHNOLOGY<\/h3>\n

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Teach perioperative theatre technology courses using competency-based methodologies.<\/li>\n
  • Train learners on theatre procedures, aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and administer assessments in theory and practical sessions, and administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCES).<\/li>\n
  • Supervise skills labs, simulations, and clinical attachments.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure adherence to occupational safety, infection control, and theatre ethics.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain teaching and assessment records.<\/li>\n
  • Support continuous improvement of training programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • A degree in Biomedical engineering, Higher National Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology, Degree in Nursing or any other related health discipline.<\/li>\n
    • Valid professional registration.<\/li>\n
    • Relevant teaching and industry experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      TVET GRADUATE ASSISTANT - COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY<\/h3>\n

      ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Deliver courses in counselling psychology using approved TVET curricula.<\/li>\n
      • Teach core areas such as counselling skills, ethics, DSM-based assessment, trauma counselling, and mental health.<\/li>\n
      • Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and learner assessments.<\/li>\n
      • Supervise counseling practicums, role plays, and industrial attachments.<\/li>\n
      • Provide academic mentorship and basic psychosocial support to learners.<\/li>\n
      • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review, and quality assurance processes.<\/li>\n
      • Promote ethical practice and professionalism in counselling training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n
          \n
        • A Degree in Counselling Psychology or related field.<\/li>\n
        • Pedagogical training and counselling practice experience preferred.<\/li>\n
        • Registration with a recognized professional body is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          TVET GRADUATE ASSISTANT - CAREGIVING AND HEALTH SUPPORT SYSTEMS<\/h3>\n

          ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY<\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Deliver competency-based training in Caregiving and Health Support Systems.<\/li>\n
          • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching notes, and training materials.<\/li>\n
          • Conduct learner assessments, CATs, practical evaluations, and maintain accurate academic records.<\/li>\n
          • Supervise learners during practical sessions, simulations, and industrial attachment.<\/li>\n
          • Mentor and guide learners on professional ethics, patient care, and workplace conduct.<\/li>\n
          • Participate in curriculum implementation, review, and quality assurance activities.<\/li>\n
          • Uphold safety, infection prevention, and professional standards in training environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n
