The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) is a State Corporation established under the Insurance Act, Cap 487 of the Laws of Kenya with the mandate to regulate, supervise and promote development of the insurance industry in Kenya. The Authority is seeking applications for the following vacant positions:<\/p>\n

Job Specifications<\/h4>\n

Duties and responsibilities will entail:<\/p>\n

  1. Managing incoming and outgoing calls and route to appropriate persons.<\/li>\n
  2. Directing enquiries from external stakeholders the relevant employees.<\/li>\n
  3. Managing guests in a professional manner.<\/li>\n
  4. Managing internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  5. Monitoring flow of visitors for security controls.<\/li>\n
  6. Maintaining the appointment diary either manually or electronically.<\/li>\n
  7. Maintaining the facilities booking system i.e. booking of boardrooms and meeting room.<\/li>\n
  8. Scheduling appointments for internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  9. Maintaining call records and expenditure for monitoring purposes.<\/li>\n
  10. Implementing Quality Management System standards and continuously identifying and managing risks.<\/li>\n

  13. Providing information on the Authority\u2019s products\/services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Person Specifications<\/h4>\n

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have at least:<\/p>\n

    1. Diploma in any of the following: Customer Care, Front Office Management, Public Relations, International Relations Public Relations, Communication Studies or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n
    2. Proficiency in computer applications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
