JOB PURPOSE\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The incumbent will ensure efficient management of the warehouse by maintaining correct & optimum stock to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and exceptional service delivery and contribute towards achievement of Business budget turnover.<\/p>\n

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB<\/h4>\n

\u00a0<\/b>Operational Responsibilities\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Timely and accurate Picking of consumables from the bins as per requisitions raised.<\/li>\n
  2. Receive materials into the warehouse when delivered from the suppliers.<\/li>\n
  3. Unbox the received materials to sort them according to specifications\/features, and to check quantities and quality.<\/li>\n
  4. Bin all received materials in line with the warehouse guidelines for ease in accessibility and minimized denials.<\/li>\n
  5. Conducting continuous perpetuals according to the mapping submitted by the supervisor and reporting on weekly basis with each line with variance explained.<\/li>\n
  6. Record all returned consumables to facilitate raising credit notes.<\/li>\n
  7. Check system stocks against the physical stocks to identify variances and report to the Procurement Manager.<\/li>\n
  8. Communicate all the damages and any difference in numbers of the consumables received in the warehouse.<\/li>\n
  9. Record information on goods issued to production in line with the warehouse procedure, and file warehouse documentation to ensure availability of information when required.<\/li>\n
  10. Arrange goods in line with the set standards to enhance warehouse safety and efficiency in warehouse operations.<\/li>\n
  11. Arranging and participating in the wall -wall stock counts to ensure achievement of <1% warehouse stock variance<\/li>\n
  12. Collaborate and communicate with teams to ensure On Time deliveries of product.<\/li>\n
  13. Ensuring that the warehouse is in excellent condition regarding cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition to minimize production downtime and support Lean Manufacturing Initiatives<\/li>\n
  14. Seeking opportunities to drive improvement on projects and lean processes.<\/li>\n
  15. Able to complete other related duties as assigned by management.<\/li>\n
  16. Apply sound problem-solving skills to achieve high quality standards for internal customers in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

    1. A degree or diploma in a Technical field or Business-related field<\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0Working knowledge of Syspro<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

      2+ years\u2019 experience in a warehouse preferably within the automotive<\/p>\n
