This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in import &amp; export documentation, customs compliance, and export logistics within the Kenyan and EAC framework. If you have a background in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Business or Commerce and are eager to build a career in IMPEX, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Process and verify all export documentation, confirm applicable export duties and taxes in line with organizational and government procedures. and coordinate export logistics in compliance with Kenyan and EAC customs regulations.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and process import and export documentation (EAC, COMESA, customs entries).<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with clients and authorities on customs and clearance documents.<\/li>\n<li>Apply for port health permits and track approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Request exit notes, C2 forms, and cargo release.<\/li>\n<li>Support compliance with customs procedures before cargo loading and dispatch.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with truck arming and logistics follow-ups.<\/li>\n<li>File and maintain IMPEX documents for audit and VAT refund purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Update customs systems to ensure timely monthly exit of entries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications<\/h4>\n<p>Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical Thinking<\/li>\n<li>Basic SAP Navigation<\/li>\n<li>Team Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Clear Communication<\/li>\n<li>IT Proficiency (MS Office)<\/li>\n<li>Customer Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Effective Time Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":858227,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>Apply by: <strong>2nd February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>We do not charge any fees at any stage of recruitment.
