Elective Africa is a leading organization in structuring and executing learning and travel immersion programs across Africa. Focused on creating meaningful first-hand experiences for its diverse clientele, Elective Africa curates programs that are collaborative, impactful and give back to the communities where we work.<\/p>\n

Cytonn HR has been retained by Elective Africa to hire a motivated and dynamic intern to expand our social media presence. Reporting to the marketing lead, the intern will support recruitment and create awareness for immersion-based learning and travel programs by executing content, social media, email, and website updates that inspire curiosity, trust, and engagement.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Create and publish content for website program pages, blogs and participant stories, social media and email campaigns<\/li>\n
  2. Schedule and manage social media posts across key platforms<\/li>\n
  3. Engage with prospective participants, alumni, and partners online<\/li>\n
  4. Assist with email campaigns and list segmentation<\/li>\n
  5. Support SEO tasks (keyword use, page optimization, internal linking)<\/li>\n
  6. Track and report on basic digital performance metrics<\/li>\n
  7. Maintain content calendars and campaign schedules<\/li>\n
  8. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, media, or related field<\/li>\n
    2. Strong writing and editing skills<\/li>\n
    3. Understanding of digital marketing channels<\/li>\n
    4. Familiarity with social media platforms and content tools<\/li>\n
    5. Comfortable working with data and reports (Excel\/Google Sheets)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
