Galana Teachers Training College is a public tertiary institution registered in 2018 under the Ministry of Education to offer certificate in Diploma Teacher Education (DTE). It is located in Bomani location, Magarini Sub County in Kilifi County.<\/p>\n

The institution is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following positions;<\/p>\n

ADVERT NO. 1 GATTECO\/PROCUREMENT OFFICER\/01\/2025-2026-(1) POST<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terms of service<\/strong>: Permanent
\nBasic Salary<\/strong>: Kshs. 28,620.00 to Kshs. 37,100.00 p.m
\nJob Group<\/strong>: F
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: as per civil service guidelines
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: SHA
\nLeave Allowance<\/strong>: as per civil service guidelines
\nLeave Entitlement<\/strong>: 30 working days per one financial year<\/p>\n

Key Qualifications:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Kenyan citizen<\/li>\n
  • KCSE C (Plain)<\/li>\n
  • Diploma in Procurement and Supplies<\/li>\n
  • KISM membership<\/li>\n
  • At least two (2) years' experience as a storekeeper<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n
  • Age: 25yrs-45yrs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Assisting in preparation of Procurement plans, market survey reports and budgets.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain stores records.<\/li>\n
    • Oversee storage of surplus inventory and property<\/li>\n
    • Prepare and dispatch LPO's<\/li>\n
    • Record and maintain proper filing of Local Purchase Orders.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain complete knowledge of land comply with all departmental policies\/service procedures\/standards.<\/li>\n
    • Issuance and receiving of stores against authorized LPOs, delivery notes and requisition.<\/li>\n
    • Resolve discrepancies noted in received goods immediately.<\/li>\n
    • Participating in conducting and preparation of weekly\/monthly stock taking, stock reports and reconciliation; including variance stock reports and advice management.<\/li>\n
