We believe that borders shouldn't constrain talent, and our mission is to create global opportunities for you to earn, learn, and build the future!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please read the following carefully:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We welcome individuals who are eager to\u00a0<strong>dedicate the next 2-3 years<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>to this program\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0build the right\u00a0skills and track record for global careers in tech &amp; data.<\/li>\n<li>Our roles include\u00a0<strong>Junior QA Engineer, Junior Tech Support Engineer, Junior Data Analyst, Junior Data Engineer, Junior DevOps, and Junior Designer<\/strong>. Please note these positions are geared towards recent graduates who are starting their career journeys.<\/li>\n<li>Our partners are\u00a0<strong>US and European technology companies<\/strong>\u00a0creating exciting products in finance, education, healthcare, telecommunications, enterprise software, logistics, and much more.<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates will be trained and placed with one of our partner companies,\u00a0<strong>initially for a 3-month Fellowship\u00a0<\/strong>to learn the role and demonstrate what you can do. If you perform well, you will\u00a0<strong>unlock long-term employment with your partner company<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All Tana Fellows work from home<\/strong>, and are expected to have an\u00a0appropriate laptop, phone, internet connection, stable power, and home office environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":769969,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>Here are some tips before you start the application:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>To be eligible for Tana, you must be:\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li><strong>a Kenyan citizen, and<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>fully finished with university or other educational programs.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>If you've completed\u00a0coursework but are awaiting graduation, you may also apply.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Tana is a highly competitive program, and as such,\u00a0<strong>requires\u00a0<\/strong><strong>a rigorous multi-stage application process<\/strong>:\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Initial application:\u00a0This initial application is expected to take about\u00a03 hours to complete, as it contains self-learning and\u00a0practical exercises.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Technical skills assessments: If your\u00a0application is successful, you'll be invited to complete a timed online test with\u00a0short quizzes for any technical skills that you'd like to demonstrate. We expect this to take between 1 to 2 hours depending on how many skills you'd like to verify.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Screening interview: We'll invite you to\u00a0a 30-minute video\u00a0interview to get to\u00a0know your interests and experiences better.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Admission to Tana Talent Pool: At this point, you'll find out whether you have gained admission to the Tana Talent Pool. Being in the Talent Pool means that we'll actively consider you for upcoming opportunities. Every partner company looks for different profiles, so we will reach out if we see a potential fit for partner-specific assessments.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Partner-specific\u00a0assessments: This may include more in-depth technical assessments, more in-depth interviews with the Tana team,\u00a0and direct interviews with our partner companies. Our partner companies are the ones who ultimately decide the individuals whom they want to work with.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Admission to Tana Fellowship:\u00a0If selected by a partner company, you will be officially be hired and trained as a Tana Fellow in order to start this exciting adventure with us!<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>You may only apply once every 3 months<\/strong>.
