WFP Kenya Country Office <\/strong>provides an eight\u2011month, HR Internship opportunity for recent Kenyan graduates to gain hands\u2011on experience in talent development, performance tracking, and employee engagement. Based in Nairobi and open to local residents, the role supports training logistics, onboarding coordination, HR data management, and workplace\u2011culture initiatives, delivering monthly reports that inform strategic decisions. Candidates fluent in English, proficient in Microsoft Office, and passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces will assist the HR team while contributing to WFP\u2019s mission of saving lives and building resilience across Kenya. The WFP Kenya Country Office (KCO) implements an Internship Programme designed to deepen understanding of the United Nations by providing practical, hands-on experience within the World Food Programme. The programme offers graduate students an opportunity to gain professional exposure in their respective fields of study and specialization, both within programme areas and across various offices in the country.<\/p>\n

The Country Office is now seeking to select\u00a0Interns for Cohort 3, 2026<\/b>, for an\u00a0eight-month\u00a0<\/b>programme with opportunities in both Field Offices and the Nairobi Office. For Field Office placements, priority will be given to candidates from the surrounding local communities to enhance impact.<\/p>\n

Intern - Human Resources, Nairobi<\/strong><\/p>\n

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources function by assisting in the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking initiatives across Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Workplace Culture.<\/p>\n

The HR intern will provide critical assistance in managing foundational tasks such as scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, coordinating survey logistics, and maintaining accurate documentation. This dedicated support will enable the core HR team to focus on strategic deliverables such as designing frameworks, implementing planned priorities, and embedding cultural initiatives that directly contribute to organizational growth, talent development, and an exceptional employee experience.<\/p>\n
