Jamii Telecommunications Limited (JTL) is a privately owned Kenyan telecommunication service provider offering broadband and mobile services under the \"FAIBA\" brand.<\/p>\n

We are seeking passionate and driven telecom engineering graduates to join our Technology Team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or interns looking to gain hands-on experience in a live telecommunications environment.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Monitor telecom network performance (Core, Transmission, Radio & IP)<\/li>\n
  • Perform first-level fault monitoring, analysis, and escalation<\/li>\n
  • Respond to network alarms and service outages within defined SLAs<\/li>\n
  • Update incident tickets and prepare daily network performance reports<\/li>\n
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities<\/li>\n
  • Provide first-line technical support for enterprise and consumer telecom services<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, voice, data, and service quality issues<\/li>\n
  • Liaise with Network Operations Centre, Field Operations, and Planning teams for issues resolution<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate records on faults and customer communication<\/li>\n
  • Support service assurance and customer experience initiatives<\/li>\n
  • Assist in radio, transmission, or core network planning activities<\/li>\n
  • Support capacity planning, network optimization, and rollout projects<\/li>\n
  • Analyse network performance data and prepare planning reports<\/li>\n
  • Assist with site planning, documentation, and network inventory updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Minimum Qualifications<\/h4>\n

    Required Skills & Competencies:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT<\/li>\n
    • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year experience with CCNA\/CCNP qualifications<\/li>\n
    • Basic understanding of telecom networks (LTE, 5G, IP\/MPLS, Fibre)<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools or ticketing systems is an added advantage<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to learn and work in a 24\/7 operational environment<\/li>\n
    • Good communication skills and ability to work in teams<\/li>\n
    • Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
