We operate across four priority program areas\u2013 reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH); HIV; Violence; and Mental Health. We also lead efforts to reduce high-burden communicable diseases (malaria, tuberculosis, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy Execution Intern \u2013 Office of the Regional Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:\u00a0<\/strong>Regional Director, HealthRight Africa<\/p>\n<h4>Job Purpose<\/h4>\n<p>The Strategy Execution Intern provides high-level analytical, coordination, and operational support to the Regional Director to ensure effective execution of HealthRight Africa\u2019s regional strategy. The role focuses on translating strategic priorities into actionable workplans, tracking delivery against agreed milestones, supporting cross-functional coordination, and strengthening accountability across country offices and technical teams.\u00a0 The position is not a general administrative role; it is a results-oriented function designed to enable disciplined strategy implementation, performance management, and informed leadership decision-making.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Strategy Implementation &amp; Follow-Up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support translation of regional strategic priorities, annual plans, and leadership decisions into clear action plans, timelines, and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Track execution of strategic initiatives across country programs and technical units, flagging delays, risks, and dependencies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a consolidated regional strategy execution dashboard, including milestones, KPIs, and progress status.<\/li>\n<li>Support preparation of quarterly and annual regional performance reviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Monitoring &amp; Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, synthesize, and analyze performance data from country offices and against agreed targets.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare concise management briefs, dashboards, and analytical summaries for the Regional Director and senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Support follow-up on performance review meetings, including documentation of decisions, action points, and accountability assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cross-Country &amp; Cross-Functional Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a coordination focal point between the Regional Director\u2019s office, country programs, and technical\/support functions.<\/li>\n<li>Track interdepartmental commitments and ensure timely follow-through.<\/li>\n<li>Support planning and coordination of regional leadership meetings, strategy reviews, and priority task forces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strategic Planning &amp; Institutional Initiatives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support development, updating, and operationalization of regional strategies, roadmaps, and change initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing concept notes, internal strategy documents, and briefing materials for internal and external engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide analytical and coordination support to priority institutional initiatives (e.g. expansion, partnerships, transformation efforts).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Executive Support &amp; Decision Enablement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare high-quality briefing notes, talking points, and background analyses for the Regional Director\u2019s meetings and engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Track key decisions made by the Regional Director and leadership forums, ensuring follow-up and closure.<\/li>\n<li>Support prioritization of the Regional Director\u2019s strategic agenda by organizing inputs, timelines, and dependencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Key Deliverables<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Country and Regional strategy execution tracker and dashboard<\/li>\n<li>Periodic performance and progress briefs<\/li>\n<li>Action and decision tracking logs<\/li>\n<li>Briefing notes and analytical summaries for leadership<\/li>\n<li>Documented follow-up from regional strategy and performance meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Public Health, International Development, Economics or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 1\u20132 years of relevant experience in strategy support, program management, performance management, or executive support within an INGO, development organization, or consulting environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership or complex, multi-country programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":671901,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<ul>\r\n\t<li>Applications to be sent to: Human Resource Manager, P.
