The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is an independent Kenyan regulatory agency established in 2011 to conduct, supervise, and manage elections and referenda. It is responsible for voter registration, boundary delimitation, candidate regulation, and voter education.<\/p>\n

ICT Clerk<\/strong><\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Wards Countrywide<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Set up, configure and operate KIEMS kits and related ICT equipment for voter registration.<\/li>\n
  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software and connectivity issues.<\/li>\n
  • Support secure transmission, synchronization and backup of voter registration data.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure proper custody, accountability and maintenance of ICT equipment.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain ICT logs, incident reports and equipment handover records.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in training and supporting voter registration officials on basic ICT operations.<\/li>\n
  • Uphold data security, confidentiality and system integrity in line with IEBC policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Job Requirements<\/h4>\n

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n
    • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software applications and networking.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to troubleshoot common ICT issues under pressure.<\/li>\n
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated integrity, neutrality and confidentiality.<\/li>\n
    • Must be a Kenyan citizen and a registered voter.<\/li>\n
