{"id":866501,"date":"2026-02-26T00:14:17","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T21:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=866501"},"modified":"2026-02-26T00:14:21","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T21:14:21","slug":"866501-mawingu-inbound-call-center-internship","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/vacancy\/866501-mawingu-inbound-call-center-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Inbound Call Center Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mawingu is connecting rural Kenya with affordable, reliable internet \u2014 and we\u2019re hiring a CST \u2013 Inbound Intern!<\/p>\n<h4>ROLE SUMMARY<\/h4>\n<p>The Inbound Call Center Intern will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers with the aim of providing exceptional service and maintaining minimal abandoned call rates.<\/p>\n<p>This role involves troubleshooting network, technical, and system issues, managing sales calls with the goal of conversion, addressing ISP-related inquiries, managing call influx, reducing repeat customer calls, and managing social media interactions.<\/p>\n<h4>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Customer Call Handling<\/strong>: Promptly and professionally handle customer calls while providing accurate solutions and minimizing abandoned calls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical Support<\/strong>: Offer first-level troubleshooting, escalate complex issues appropriately, and follow up to ensure resolution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sales and Conversions<\/strong>: Handle installation and sales inquiries, clearly explain products and services, and meet sales targets.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ISP-Related Inquiries<\/strong>: Resalve ISP-related questions accurately, stay updated on policies, and document all customer interactions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Call Influx Management<\/strong>: Efficiently manage high call volumes, especially during peak periods.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Repeat Call Reduction<\/strong>: Identify recurring issues, provide clear and complete solutions, and follow up to prevent repeat calls.
