The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a state corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013 as the national body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Clinical Research Scientist - Eldoret<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Implementing pre-clinical and clinical research projects and\/or supervise designated<\/li>\n
  • General diagnosis, care, treatment and provision of specialized clinical care for study<\/li>\n
  • Assist in carrying out fieldwork and pre-clinical and clinical experimental procedures;<\/li>\n
  • Carry out experimental and\/or developmental work;<\/li>\n
  • Contributing to interpretation and validation of results<\/li>\n
  • Conduct community diagnosis, care and treatment during Corporate Social<\/li>\n
  • Assist in organization of the internal scientific seminars;<\/li>\n
  • Guiding visiting scientific students \/students on attachment<\/li>\n
  • Maintaining the scientific pre-clinical and clinical facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Vacancy Requirements:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in any of the following fields;- Medicine and surgery, Dentistry, Veterinary, Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in computer application<\/li>\n
    • Planning and Organizational skills;<\/li>\n
    • Communication and reporting skills;<\/li>\n
    • Interpersonal skills;<\/li>\n
    • Creativity and Innovativeness;<\/li>\n
    • Critical thinking skills<\/li>\n
