At the heart of BasiGo\u2019s innovation is our Pay-As-You-Drive model, making electric bus ownership and operation accessible and affordable for private sector operators across Africa.<\/p>\n<h4>About the Role<\/h4>\n<p>The Supply Chain Intern will support demand planning by analyzing parts usage data, optimizing stock re-order thresholds, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. This position requires strong data analysis and management skills, along with a proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain and Procurement and offers significant growth opportunities as BasiGo continues to scale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You might like this job if:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You\u2019re passionate about supporting high performing teams to do their best work<\/li>\n<li>You enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re an ambitious and self-driven multi-tasker, proactively finding solutions to problems that don't exist yet and support a growing start-up\u2019s needs<\/li>\n<li>You love Nairobi, and want to help clean up the city\u2019s air<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Position Summary and Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Demand Planning:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze parts usage data and on-the-ground feedback from operational teams to continually optimize stock re-order threshold levels.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor on-hand stock data against stock re-order thresholds.<\/li>\n<li>Updating OEM part numbers in the company\u2019s platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ordering &amp; Monitoring<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft Purchase Orders in company\u2019s CRM for standard replenishment and ad-hoc procurement.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor items ordered and flag delays in sourcing<\/li>\n<li>Draft feedback reports for suppliers on outstanding items and account credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Researching New Suppliers and Products<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Support in visiting new potential vendors and researching new potential brands for parts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Supporting HoD and team on assorted daily tasks, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>About you<\/h4>\n<p>Our ideal candidate would have:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Management or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Odoo CRM is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Attitude<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Analysis and Management<\/li>\n<li>Curious and growth-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Proactive<\/li>\n<li>Mature, respectful, empathetic, with a high degree of integrity and respect of confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":692885,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>BasiGo is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
