DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, BUDGET, ECONOMIC PLANNING, ICT & e-GOVERNMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n Basic Salary<\/strong>: Kshs. 32,700 x 1,300-34,000 x 1,380-35,380 x 1,390-36,770 x 1,460-38,230 x 1,470 -39,700 x 1,470-41,170 x 1,520-42,690 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities: -<\/strong><\/p>\n This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting work of limited scope and under the guidance of a senior officer.<\/p>\n Specific Duties will include: -<\/p>\n a) Preparation and verification of vouchers in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations; Requirements for Appointment<\/strong><\/p>\n For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:<\/p>\n a) Passed Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination;ACCOUNTANT II, JOB GROUP CPSB 10\/'J' - (3 POSTS)<\/h4>\n
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n
\nb) Primary data entry and routine accounting;
\nc) Balancing of cashbooks, imprest and advances ledgers; and
\nd) Safe custody of records and assets<\/p>\n

\nBachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance Option), Business Administration (Accounting Option) from a recognized institution or any other relevant equivalent qualification; and
