Job Purpose<\/h4>\n

To be responsible for providing Tailoring skills training to the SWEP women<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Monitor the program and maintain relationships by communicating with the women.<\/li>\n
  • Explore ideas for the economic empowerment of members and the proper utilisation of peer mentoring techniques to this end...<\/li>\n
  • Recruit and supervise SWEP tailors.<\/li>\n
  • Identify SWEP tailors training needs and facilitate workshop sessions.<\/li>\n
  • Keep track of program activity plans and implementation schedules to ensure quality of activities and timely achievement of outputs.<\/li>\n
  • Keep beneficiaries records and maintain registry book<\/li>\n
  • Set assessment tests for the tailoring trainees<\/li>\n
  • Conduct continues trainees knowledge assessment<\/li>\n
  • Provide monthly progress reports<\/li>\n
  • Conduct follow ups on absenteeism and dropouts<\/li>\n
  • Update the training manuals<\/li>\n
  • Write lesson plans and monthly planner<\/li>\n
  • Gather customer feedback.<\/li>\n
  • Assist SWEP team in designing new products for the SWEP Merchandise<\/li>\n
  • Present the SWEP tailors during site visits and exhibitions<\/li>\n
  • Participate in exhibition and trade fairs<\/li>\n
  • Ensure Machines are regularly serviced and maintained.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure safety measures are adhered to at all times in the workshops<\/li>\n
  • Ensure resources needed to run the activities are requested on time and track usage<\/li>\n
  • Organise the trainees monthly meetings<\/li>\n
  • Assist in organising graduation ceremonies for the graduating trainees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
