Apply now!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Pursuant to Section 13 (2) of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act No. 2 of 2013, the Office shall have power to appoint, control and supervise its staff in a manner and for such purposes as may be necessary for the promotion of the purpose and the object for which the Office is established.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the under listed vacancies:<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTANT DPP 8- FIVE (5) POSTS V\/NO. 2\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Kshs 69,394 p.m. - Kshs.112,094 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Terms of Service: <\/strong>Permanent and Pensionable<br \/>\n<strong>Benefits:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>House Allowance: <\/strong>Kshs.16,500 p.m.<br \/>\n<strong>Commuter Allowance: <\/strong>Kshs.5,000 p.m.<br \/>\n<strong>Leave Allowance: <\/strong>Kshs.6,000 p.a.<br \/>\n<strong>Medical Insurance Cover: <\/strong>As covered by the Medical Insurance Cover for ODPP staff<br \/>\n<strong>Group Life Insurance Cover: <\/strong>As covered by the Group Life Insurance Cover for ODPP staff<br \/>\n<strong>Group Personal Accident Insurance Cover: <\/strong>As covered by Group Personal Accident Insurance Cover for ODPP staff<br \/>\n<strong>Car loan: <\/strong>Up to Kshs.1.5 million<\/p>\n<h4>REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT<\/h4>\n<p>For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Finance option or Accounting or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;<\/li>\n<li>Certified Public Accountant - CPA Part II or its equivalent qualifications; and<\/li>\n<li>Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h4>\n<p>This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level may be deployed to work at the Regional or County Offices under the guidance of a senior and experienced officer. Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Implementing accounting policies, standards, systems, strategies and procedures for the Office;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring effectiveness of accounting policies guidelines, procedures and standards;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating expenditure control;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing payment vouchers both for staff claims, imprest warrants and suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>Invoicing of all payment vouchers;<\/li>\n<li>Invoicing of AIEs for all ODPP spending units;<\/li>\n<li>Filing of all vouchers both for payments, receipts, imprest and surrenders of imprest;<\/li>\n<li>Custodian of voucher stamping stamps;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining various voucher movement registers;<\/li>\n<li>Filing, storing and retrieval of official documents for the accounts division;<\/li>\n<li>Processing of invoice payment through the Integrated Financial and Management Information System (IFMIS); and<\/li>\n<li>Filing and storage of accounts documents.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":778955,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>Interested and qualified persons are requested to make their applications <strong>ONLINE (no hard copy applications will be accepted)<\/strong> attaching <strong>COPIES <\/strong>of the following documents:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>National Identity Card;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Academic and Professional Certificates and Transcripts;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Any supporting documents and testimonials; and<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Detailed Curriculum Vitae.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>Please Note:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-roman\">\r\n\t<li>Applicants should provide all the details requested for in the advertisement.
