PAC Institute of Technology and Social Studies, a constituent college of PAC University formally registered as a Technical and Vocational College is seeking to fill the position outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born-again Christians and active members of a local Church.<\/p>\n

Position Title: TVET Trainers (3)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Business Department<\/li>\n
  2. Computer Science Department<\/li>\n
  3. Counseling Department<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    To provide competence-based training in diploma [level 6] and certificate [level 5] designed to develop relevant and highly marketable graduates in today's competitive job market<\/p>\n

    Minimum Requirements:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Computer Science, Counselling Psychology or related field.<\/li>\n
    • At least two (2) years of professional experience preferably in a TVETA college.<\/li>\n
    • TVETA Training Certification<\/li>\n
    • Trainer Qualifications (Preferably from KSTVET) will be an added advantage<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.<\/li>\n
    • In depth knowledge of the tertiary training structure and CBET<\/li>\n
    • Exposure to TVET CDACC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Instruct trainees in the specific course(s)\/units in adherence to the respective curriculum and occupational standards;<\/li>\n
      • Plan, conduct and assess practicals in the course units assigned;<\/li>\n
      • Prepare internal assessments, mark, grade, conduct validation and moderation;<\/li>\n
      • Supervise and assess trainee(s) in the course area and during industrial attachment;<\/li>\n
      • Maintaining appropriate records required by TVETA and TVET CDACC or any other relevant body including learning, session plans, training notes and records of work;<\/li>\n
