Gap Recruitment Services' client is seeking to hire a reliable and customer-focused\u00a0M-Pesa Attendant<\/strong>\u00a0to manage daily mobile money transactions at their outlets. The role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and excellent customer service skills to ensure smooth and secure handling of cash and electronic transactions.<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Gigiri, Hurlingham, Naivasha, Embakasi<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

M-Pesa Transactions & Cash Handling<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Perform M-Pesa transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and airtime purchases<\/li>\n
  • Ensure accurate recording of all transactions and balances<\/li>\n
  • Maintain sufficient float and cash levels at all times<\/li>\n
  • Balance cash and M-Pesa float daily and report any discrepancies immediately<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Customer Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Serve customers professionally, courteously, and efficiently<\/li>\n
    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding M-Pesa services and transactions<\/li>\n
    • Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate issues where necessary<\/li>\n
    • Build and maintain positive customer relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Compliance & Security<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Adhere strictly to Safaricom M-Pesa operating procedures and compliance guidelines<\/li>\n
      • Ensure proper KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures are followed<\/li>\n
      • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction data<\/li>\n
      • Observe security procedures to prevent fraud, loss, or theft<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Reporting & Record Keeping<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Maintain accurate transaction records and daily reconciliation reports<\/li>\n
        • Prepare end-of-day summaries for review by the supervisor<\/li>\n
        • Ensure proper filing of transaction-related documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Required Qualifications and Experience<\/h4>\n
            \n
          • KCSE minimum grade\u00a0C minus.<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Prior experience as an M-Pesa Attendant or in a similar cash-handling role is an added advantage<\/li>\n
          • Basic computer literacy<\/li>\n
          • Strong numerical and record-keeping skills<\/li>\n
          • Ability to work long hours, weekends, or shifts as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
