The Capital Markets Authority is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing an efficient capital market in Kenya. The Authority invites applications for the following position:<\/p>\n

INTERN - RESEARCH & ANALYTICS - 1 POSITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Internship Period<\/strong>: 1 year (non-renewable)<\/p>\n

Your Role<\/h4>\n

Reporting to the Deputy Director Research and Analytics, the candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Supporting stakeholder engagement sessions and preparing responses to client enquiries on capital market, financial sector and economic issues;<\/li>\n
  2. Supporting the preparation and monitoring of budget for the division;<\/li>\n
  3. Collecting and editing of EAC member states and other relevant capital market statistics;<\/li>\n
  4. Providing support in the updating of data into designed database systems and providing for confidentiality, integrity and controlled accessibility for future references; and,<\/li>\n
  5. Supporting preparation and publication of the periodic capital market updates and reports.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n

    A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Policy, Social Sciences, ICT, Records, Library, Knowledge Management, Legal or relevant degree from a recognized and accredited institution;<\/p>\n

    Key skills, Knowledge & Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n

    a) Professional and personal integrity;
    \nb) Communication and interpersonal skills;
    \nc) Report writing skills; and,
