We design and manage blended finance solutions that support local enterprises, delivering strong financial returns and meaningful social and environmental impact for both institutional investors and philanthropic partners.<\/p>\n<p>iGravity works with development organizations across the investment lifecycle from early-stage strategy and innovative finance design to the development of robust Impact Measurement &amp; Management (IMM) systems.<\/p>\n<p>To support iGravity's growing communications needs across its business lines, mandates, and markets, we are seeking a proactive and creative <strong>Communications Fellow<\/strong> to join our team in <strong>Nairobi<\/strong> for a period of <strong>6 months.<\/strong> The role will support content creation, digital communications, design, and day-to-day communications activities across the organization.<\/p>\n<h4>Your role<\/h4>\n<p>The role will focus on content creation, digital communications, and day-to-day communications. Among others, the Communications Fellow will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Supporting the development of content across channels<\/strong>, including Linkedin posts, newsletters, blog articles, and website updates, with a focus on clear, engaging, and audience-relevant storytelling;<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in <strong>the development and execution of content calendars <\/strong>across iGravity business lines and mandates;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting the design and adaptation of visual assets<\/strong> using Canva and other design tools, in line with iGravity's branding and existing templates;<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the <strong>preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting event communications<\/strong>, including invitations, follow-ups, and promotional content;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contributing to general communications and branding initiatives<\/strong> across the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Who you are<\/h4>\n<p>We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team player with strong communication and design capabilities. Key attributes\/skills for this role are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2-3 years of experience<\/strong> in communications, marketing, media, or a related field;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong writing and editing skills<\/strong>, with the ability to communicate clearly and adapt content across different formats and audiences;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong design skills<\/strong>, with proficiency in tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and an eye for layout, visuals, and branding;<\/li>\n<li><strong>High attention to detail,<\/strong> with a strong sense of quality and consistency across both written and visual content;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creativity and ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and audience-relevant content and narratives;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong organizational skills<\/strong>, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bachelor's degree<\/strong> in communications, marketing, business, or a related field;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exposure to or familiarity with impact investing, sustainable finance, international development, or related sectors is a plus.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, you may bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A proactive mindset<\/strong>, with the ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining clear communication with a global team;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience using digital tools<\/strong> such as CMS platforms (e.g. <strong>WordPress),<\/strong> newsletter tools (e.g. <strong>Mailchimp),<\/strong> and social media platforms;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel);<\/li>\n<li>Curiosity and willingness to learn about impact investing and innovative finance;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Who you will work with<\/h4>\n<p>You will work closely with <strong>Abraham Kiptanui, Senior Communications Associate<\/strong>.
