The college is seeking to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SJTTID\/BOG\/2026\/06-CATERESS (ONE POST) SJTTID 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of the institutions 'menu.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and preparing balanced meals for trainees and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise kitchen staff and support personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare staff and trainee meal rations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory and assist in food requisition and stock control.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with safety and health regulations at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Report maintenance needs and ensure proper use of kitchen equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Performing any other duty as maybe assigned by your supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Diploma in Food Production, Service and management or a related field from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of relevant experience in a busy catering environment.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Occupational safety and Health awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Must have food handling certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid Certificate of good
