CO-OPERATIVE OFFICER II - FOURTEEN (14) POSTS- V\/NO. 118\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 36,200 p.m - Ksh 47,900 p.m. (CSG 11)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 5,800 p.m. - Ksh 10,000 p.m.
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 4,000 p.m.
\nLeave allowance<\/strong>: As provided in the Civil Service
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n

Qualification Requirements<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Cooperative Business, Cooperative Management, Cooperative and Community Development, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Agribusiness or its equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya;<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: -<\/p>\n

(i) collecting, collating and compiling Cooperatives data;
\n(ii) verifying documents for: Registration\/ applications of new cooperative; amendment of by-laws; name searches; borrowing powers; indemnities charges and debentures; and remittances;
\n(iii) compiling cooperatives annual returns;
\n(iv) issuing and receiving wealth declaration forms from cooperative officials;
\n(v) supporting implementations of Cooperative development programmes and projects; and
\n(vi) disseminating cooperative policies, guidelines and standards.
\n(ii) verifying registration\/ application documents;
\n(iii) carrying out pre-cooperative training for federations; and
