The Ministry of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development is hiring Assistant Co-operative Officers in the State Department for Co-operatives. In this entry-level role, you will support senior officers by gathering and organizing cooperative data, reviewing registration documents, and assisting with pre-cooperative training. ASSISTANT CO-OPERATIVE OFFICER III \u2013 NINETEEN (19) POSTS- V\/NO. 119\/2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 30,400 p.m \u2013 Ksh 38,880 p.m. (CSG 12)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 3,850 p.m. \u2013 Ksh 6,750 p.m.
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 4,000 p.m.
\nLeave allowance<\/strong>: As provided in the Civil Service
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Co-operative Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: -<\/p>\n

(i) collecting and collating cooperative data;
\n(ii) verifying registration\/ application documents;
\n(iii) carrying out pre-cooperative training for federations; and
