INFORMATION ASSISTANT III - THIRTY (30) POSTS - V\/NO. 123\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh 30,400 p.m \u2013 Ksh 38,880 p.m. (CSG 12)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 3,850 p.m. \u2013 Ksh 6,750 p.m.
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh 4,000 p.m.
\nLeave allowance<\/strong>: As provided in the Civil Service
\nAnnual Leave<\/strong>: 30 working days per financial year
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As provided by the government
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n

Qualification Requirements<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following Social Sciences: Photojournalism, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication Studies or Media Studies\/Science from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

This will be the entry and training grade for Information Assistants. Duties and responsibilities will include:-<\/p>\n

(i) gathering, writing, dispatching news, information and features;
\n(ii) managing information gathering and dissemination systems; and
