The National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) is a Constitutional Commission established by the National Gender and Equality Commission Act No. 15 of 2011 pursuant to Article 59 (4) & (5) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. The Commission's mandate is to promote gender equality and freedom from discrimination for all people in Kenya with a focus on special interest groups, which include women, children, youth, persons with disabilities (PWDs), older members of society, minorities, and marginalized groups.<\/p>\n

The Commission is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, visionary, dynamic and results-oriented candidate to fill the following position:<\/p>\n

OFFICE ASSISTANT III - NGEC 10<\/strong><\/p>\n

REF<\/strong>: NGEC\/HR\/10\/3\/2025-(3 POSTS)
\nRemuneration <\/strong>(Basic Salary): Ksh. 31,420-44,615.00
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>:\u00a0 Ksh. 6,750
\nCommuter Allowance<\/strong>:\u00a0 Ksh. 4,000
\nMedical Cover<\/strong>: As existing in the Commission
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent from Kenya National Examination Council;<\/li>\n
  2. Computer skills; and<\/li>\n
  3. Met the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h4>\n

    Duties and responsibilities will entail:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Cleaning offices, machines, equipment and apparatus;<\/li>\n
    2. Cleaning kitchen and preparing tea;<\/li>\n
    3. Maintaining general cleanliness around the offices by collection and disposal of litter;<\/li>\n
    4. Ensuring proper sanitation;<\/li>\n
    5. Carrying out photocopying and binding documents;<\/li>\n
    6. Dusting offices;<\/li>\n
    7. Moving or carrying office equipment, furniture;<\/li>\n
    8.
