Requirements for Appointment<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution;<\/li>\n
  2. Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable);<\/li>\n
  3. Registered for a relevant Master's Degree within one (1) year of appointment;<\/li>\n
  4. Computer literacy; and<\/li>\n
  5. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. Any recommendations\/commendations or additional certificate will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

    An officer at this level shall be appointed on contract and shall:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Conduct tutorials, research, publish under the supervision of a senior academic staff;<\/li>\n
    2. Participate in writing proposals for grants;<\/li>\n
    3. Assist in planning, coordination and execution of special projects and initiatives;<\/li>\n
    4. Assist in drafting, reviewing and editing documents and correspondences;<\/li>\n
    5. Prepare reports, summaries and presentations;<\/li>\n
    6. Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decision making;<\/li>\n
    7. Assist in academic demonstrations and assessment of undergraduate students reports;<\/li>\n
    8. Assist in the supervision of undergraduate projects, tutorials and practical, field and attachment sessions;<\/li>\n
    9. Participate in research projects;<\/li>\n
    10. Participate in professional and community service; and<\/li>\n
    11.
