WRA is designated under the Act as an agent of the National Government responsible for regulating the management and use of water resources.<\/p>\n<p>The Management of the Authority wishes to identify and recruit capable officers in the underlisted positions.<\/p>\n<p>This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer.<\/p>\n<h4>V\/NO.3\/2026 - WATER RESOURCES OFFICER II (STANDARDS AND REGULATION)<\/h4>\n<p><strong>WRA GRADE 8 \u2013 FOUR (4) POSITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Standards and Regulation Function<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cadre is responsible for implementation of regulations, development and review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities will entail:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compiling and documenting the existing relevant Standards and Regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Isolating and allocating the Standards and Regulations to the applicable thematic areas;<\/li>\n<li>Tracking the extent of application of the Standards and Regulation;<\/li>\n<li>Ranking based on the developed criteria the extent of compliance to the Standards and Regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports on implementation of Standards and Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in any of the following disciplines: Hydrology, Soil, Water and Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Geology, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>V\/NO.4\/2026 - WATER RESOURCES OFFICER II (PERMITTING)<\/h4>\n<p><strong>WRA GRADE 8 \u2013 SIX (6) POSITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Permitting Function<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cadre is responsible for implementation of regulations, development and review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
