The Water Resources Authority is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, established as a corporate body under Section 11 of the Water Act (2016). WRA is designated under the Act as an agent of the National Government responsible for regulating the management and use of water resources.<\/p>\n
The Management of the Authority wishes to identify and recruit capable officers in the underlisted positions.<\/p>\n
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer.<\/p>\n
WRA GRADE 8 \u2013 NINE (9) POSITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Hydrology Function<\/strong><\/p>\n The cadre is responsible for identifying, mapping and developing of surface water monitoring network; constructing, installing and maintaining hydrological stations; collecting surface water data, analyzing and preparing hydrological reports.<\/p>\n Duties and Responsibilities will entail:<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Specifications<\/strong><\/p>\n For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n WRA GRADE 9 \u2013 FOUR (4) POSITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Hydrology Function<\/strong><\/p>\n The cadre is responsible for identifying, mapping and developing of surface water monitoring network; constructing, installing and maintaining hydrological stations; collecting surface water data, analyzing and preparing hydrological reports.<\/p>\n Duties and Responsibilities will entail<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Specifications<\/strong><\/p>\n For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n Terms of Service and Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n Successful candidates will serve for a probationary period of six (6) months thereafter convert to Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service.
