WRA is designated under the Act as an agent of the National Government responsible for regulating the management and use of water resources.<\/p>\n<p>The Management of the Authority wishes to identify and recruit capable officers in the underlisted positions.<\/p>\n<p>This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>V\/NO.10\/2026 - GEOLOGIST II <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WRA GRADE 8 \u2013 FIFTEEN (15) POSITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Geology Function<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cadre is responsible for identifying, mapping and developing of groundwater monitoring network; constructing, installing and maintaining hydro-geological stations; collecting groundwater data, analyzing and preparing hydro-geological reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities will entail:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compiling data, cleaning, analysing for preparation of technical reports and other documentation regarding groundwater work;<\/li>\n<li>Assessing groundwater monitoring stations, identifying and recommending rehabilitation requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking spatial analysis of groundwater resources and preparing reports;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating hydrogeological reports for permit applications;<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and mapping ground water resources; and<\/li>\n<li>Storing ground water data and information in the database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Job Specifications<\/h5>\n<p>For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in any of the following disciplines: Geology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":906064,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>Candidates who meet the requirements for each of the positions should fill and submit the application form online in a typed format to be received on or before <strong>1st June 2026<\/strong>.
