The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) is one of nine agencies tasked with developing, maintaining, and managing national public waterworks within its jurisdiction. It initially operates these works, providing water services until responsibility can be transferred to local authorities or service providers. The CRVWWDA also maintains reserve capacity for service transfers and offers technical assistance and capacity building to county governments and water service providers. Additionally, it supports the Cabinet Secretary in their constitutional and legislative duties.<\/p>\n
To discharge the above mandate, the Agency seeks to recruit the following employees;<\/p>\n
Driver II Job Grade CRV 11<\/strong><\/p>\n Ref: CRVWWDA\/DII\/07\/2025\/26 (3 Posts)<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n The primary purpose of drivers is for providing secure and timely driving services to employees and other authorized stakeholders of CRV. They also ensure that the vehicles are maintained and in good condition for smooth mobility.<\/p>\n Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:<\/p>\n i. Driving vehicles as authorized; For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:<\/p>\n i. \nii. Keeping up to date work tickets for vehicles assigned to;
\niii. Cleaning of the assigned motor vehicle;
\niv. Maintaining a proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle;
\nv. Ensuring security and safety of passengers and vehicle on and off the road;
\nvi. Adhering to or observing of traffic laws;
\nvii. Reporting any incidents to police and\/or the office immediately they occur;
\nviii. Detect common mechanical faults.<\/p>\nPerson Specifications<\/h4>\n
\nii. Valid driving license category C and D free from any current endorsements;
\niii. Occupational Trade Test III Certificate;
\niv. First Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized Institution; and
\nv.
