\r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n <\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/a><\/p>\nIntern Analyst - Power & Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\nThis is a\u00a0six-month internship, with the possibility of being absorbed into the team upon completion, subject to performance and business needs. The role is suited to candidates with a strong interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, and investment advisory in emerging markets.<\/p>\n
As an Intern Analyst, you will\u00a0support\u00a0transaction advisory,\u00a0business development,\u00a0market\u00a0research,\u00a0financial\u00a0analysis,\u00a0and internal team operations across the Power and Infrastructure practice.\u00a0You will\u00a0work closely\u00a0with other team members\u00a0to help deliver\u00a0advisory mandates and support\u00a0the continues\u00a0growth\u00a0of the team.<\/p>\n
Work authorization in Kenya is mandatory. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Kenya.<\/p>\n
Primary Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n- Conduct market\u00a0research to support client recommendations and internal decision-making<\/li>\n
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, investment materials, briefing notes, meeting notes, and other client-facing deliverables<\/li>\n
- Support\u00a0financial analysis, including data collection,\u00a0financial model preparation, sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, and review of outputs<\/li>\n
- Support capital mapping by\u00a0identifying\u00a0relevant investors, lenders, donors, development finance institutions, and other funding sources<\/li>\n
- Support\u00a0business development activities, including research on new opportunities, preparation of credentials, case studies, and proposal materials<\/li>\n
- Support project management across active workstreams, including tracking deliverables, deadlines, action items, meetings, and follow-ups<\/li>\n
- Help\u00a0maintain\u00a0organized project files, trackers, databases, and knowledge management materials<\/li>\n
- Support internal team administration, including meeting preparation, internal updates, staffing coordination, reporting, and other team processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Who You Are<\/h4>\n\n- 0.5\u00a0-\u00a02\u00a0years of experience in project finance, renewable energy, or infrastructure, gained at a financial advisor, developer, investment firm, DFI, lender, or investment bank<\/li>\n
- Bachelor\u2019s degree\u00a0required, preferably in finance, economics,\u00a0law,\u00a0engineering, business, accounting, or a related discipline<\/li>\n
- Experience working in emerging markets; Africa, South\/Southeast Asia, and\/or Latin America would be preferred<\/li>\n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure issues logically and focus on key questions<\/li>\n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured materials<\/li>\n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under guidance<\/li>\n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n
- Proficiency\u00a0in\u00a0Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel<\/li>\n
- Fluent in English. French and\/or Spanish language skills beneficiary but not\u00a0required<\/li>\n
