AIC Kijabe Hospital are seeking to fill the following position of PHYSIOTHERAPIST INTERN<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to <\/strong>the ASSISTANT MANAGER PHYSIOTHERAPY.<\/p>\n

Purpose<\/strong>: To glorify God by performing physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse and complex conditions, providing a diagnosis, developing and delivering a patient focused treatment programme under guidance of physiotherapist.<\/p>\n

Job Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for the consumers of the services offered by the department and efficient execution of work processes as assigned<\/li>\n
  • Encourage patients and their care in an active approach to regaining and maintaining independence<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate a patients' progress, reassess and alter treatment programs if required, developing reflective practice<\/li>\n
  • Determine the patient's understanding of treatment proposals to ensure valid patient consent<\/li>\n
  • Work within physiotherapy clinical guidelines and to have a working knowledge of national and local standards and monitor quality of practice<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with standards of practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy<\/li>\n
    • Must be registered with Physiotherapy Council of Kenya<\/li>\n
    • Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision<\/li>\n
    • Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
