NBK\/RET\/30\/2026<br \/>\n<strong>Position Title<\/strong>: Business Banker<br \/>\n<strong>Available position\/s: <\/strong>6<br \/>\n<strong>Division<\/strong>: Retail Banking Division<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Various<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to<\/strong>: Branch Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Direct Reports:\u00a0<\/strong>N\/A<br \/>\n<strong>Grade: <\/strong>MG9<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The role holder will be responsible for driving MSME business growth at the assigned branch through customer acquisition, retention, and relationship management in order to meet clients' financial needs.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Business Growth &amp; Portfolio Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive MSME business growth through acquisition of lending and deposit opportunities from new and existing clients.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong advisory relationships to acquire profitable customers and deliver tailored financial solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Grow and manage the MSME portfolio by analyzing opportunities and ensuring profitability and quality of business.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen customer engagement through regular interactions, structured meetings, accurate records, and cross-selling of bank products.<\/li>\n<li>Identify new business opportunities and partnerships while providing market insights and feedback to improve products and strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Credi<\/strong><strong>t Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and assess loan applications, including customer requirements, financial analysis, and necessary due diligence such as visits and reference checks.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze applications and provide appropriate recommendations for approval while ensuring complete and accurate documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on loan processes, communicate decisions to customers, and coordinate to ensure all conditions are met for disbursement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain strong customer relationships by promoting bank products, cross-selling, and ensuring timely resolution of queries and complaints within agreed service levels.<\/li>\n<li>Safeguard customer confidentiality while collaborating with branch and head office teams to deliver a seamless and positive customer experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, bank policies, risk frameworks, and operational procedures, including KYC and anti-money laundering standards.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and monitor risks while ensuring completeness and accuracy of customer documentation and supporting daily branch operations.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Branch Management on day-to-day branch operations as per the Bank Policies and Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Support business effectiveness through reporting, market awareness, teamwork in marketing initiatives, and carrying out any additional duties assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualification, Skills &amp;
