CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024\/2025<\/h2>\n

The Ministry is in receipt of communication from the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Kenya informing of Eighteen (18) Chinese Government Scholarships to Kenyan students for Undergraduate, Masters\u2019 and PhD in the academic year 2024\/2025.<\/p>\n

Applicant should meet the following requirements<\/p>\n

Undergraduate<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Minimum KCSE mean grade of B (Plain)
\n\u2022 Not more than 25 years of age
\n\u2022 Have an original KCSE certificate
\n\u2022 Strong grades in major subjects that are key to the area of specialty preferred
\n\u2022 Completed secondary education in the last three (3) years.<\/p>\n

Masters<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Have a Bachelors degree of at least Second Class Upper Division
\n\u2022 Be under 35 years of age<\/p>\n

PhD<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Have a relevant Master\u2019s degree from a recognized University.
\n\u2022 Be under 40 years of age.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION PROCEEDURE<\/h2>\n

Interested applicants should visit and apply online through official website of China Scholarship Council http:\/\/www.campuschina.org\/\r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n <\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and click Scholarship Application for Students. This will require one to create an account. Under program category Select Type A<\/strong> and Agency Number is 4041.<\/strong><\/p>\n

List of available universities and courses they offer visit http:\/\/www.campuschina.org\/universities\/index.html<\/p>\n

Application documents required include;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Application form for Chinese Government Scholarship.
\n\u2022 A copy of the passport Home page with validity later than 1st March, 2025.
\n\u2022 Notarized certificates and academic transcripts which should be in English or Chinese translations.
\n\u2022 Pre admission documents issued by universities one is applying to.
\n\u2022 A study plan or research proposal (a minimum of 200 words for undergraduates and 800 words for postgraduate
\n\u2022 Two recommendation letters from a professor or associate professor for graduate programs applicants
\n\u2022 Submit a copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form and retain the original (Form available from Directorate of Higher Education Room 2701)
\n\u2022 Certificate of good conduct.<\/p>\n

Reminder: Uploaded documents must be clear, authentic and valid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE<\/h2>\n

Document to be submitted with the CSC application form include;<\/p>\n

i. The STANDARD SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> downloadable from the Ministry of Education Website<\/p>\n

ii. Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled by medical practitioner<\/p>\n

iii. Attach certified documents (photocopies of ID, academic\/ professional certificates, transcripts, Birth Certificate, Passport, other testimonials). The study plan for postgraduate students), recommendation letters and a copy of the online application form submitted to China Scholarship Council should be sent to;<\/p>\n

NB:<\/strong><\/p>\n

i. Academic Certificates from Foreign Institutions of Higher Learning MUST be recognized by Commission for University Education (CUE).<\/p>\n
