It is a one-year fully sponsored residential hands-on technical training program. It provides education and economic opportunity to young women between 19 and 24 years from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have completed high school but are unable to further their education due to financial constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must meet these minimum requirements after completing high school:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a young women between the ages of 19 and 24 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed High School no later than Dec 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess a\u00a0high school results slip\u00a0(KCSE, CSEE, UACE, ESSLCE, MSCE, GCE, &amp; Rwanda Advanced Certificate of Education).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in spoken and written English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a citizen of Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia or come from the refugee communities in Kenya.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have either a National ID or Alien ID of your respective country of origin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A recommendation letter from an authority figure, known to you who is not a relative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Available full-time to live and learn in the AkiraChix Campus from January to December 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scored a mean grade of C+ and above in KCSE and the equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scored at least a C+ and above in Maths, English, Chemistry and\/or Physics. Candidates who successfully complete each stage will proceed with the application process. After every stage, you will receive a message notifying you if you are successful or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 1:&nbsp;Demographic evaluation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first screening stage. All applicants\u2019 documents are verified. This stage also contains 3 essay questions that evaluate the applicant\u2019s motivation for joining the codeHive program. Any applicant whose responses that are plagiarized are disqualified from the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 2:&nbsp;Academic screening<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants are evaluated based on their academic eligibility. Please read the academic requirements before beginning the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 3:&nbsp;General Aptitude Test<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The test is 60 mins. Once you start, you have to complete in one sitting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The test evaluates problem solving and critical thinking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each link is unique. You cannot use the link more than once or share it with another person<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The test is graded and determines whether you proceed to the next stage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The test is automated to detect plagiarism or any form of cheating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 4:&nbsp;Interview stage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the last stage in the application process.
