Training Centre<\/strong>: NITA Athi River
Intake<\/strong>: September 2025
Certification<\/strong>: National Skills Certificate II (NSC II) and Government Trade Tests - grade III\/II\/I
Industrial Attachment<\/strong>: All trainees will be placed on three-months mandatory Industrial Attachment through the project partnership.
Fees<\/strong>: Tuition & Exams Fees is fully funded<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If yes, this is for you: Kenya TVET Project 2025 by the National Industrial Training Authority, NITA in partnership with Danish Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is here to support you to realize your dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duration:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Regular programs<\/strong> for form four leavers is for two terms in the institution and 3 months on mandatory Industrial Attachment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Skill upgrading program<\/strong> for the workers already working in the industry but lack formal training and certification, is for 3 months in the institution and 3 months on Industrial Attachment. Selection of beneficiaries under this category will be done by the Kenya Building Construction, Timber & Furniture Industries Employees Union<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment<\/strong> for workers with professional experience but lack certificates<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Target group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Youth artisans (fundis) between 18 and 35 years, working in the building and construction sites but lack formal college education and certificates<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Form four leavers with D-and above grade and have interest in Carpentry, Plumbing, Solar and Electrical<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Ladies are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
