Job Summary

The primary focus of this role will be to collaborate with internal teams to create effective and eye-catching images and campaigns. The ideal candidate will not only develop graphics for digital platforms but also create beautiful images and compelling content.

About The Safaricom Hook SME Internship Program

As part of Safaricom Hook initative, Safaricom, in partnership with BrighterMonday, is empowering 15 SMEs to offer meaningful, paid internships to 15 candidates from October to December 2024, with a monthly stipend of Ksh 25,000. This will provide the young professionals the perfect launchpad to kickstart their careers by providing them an opportunity to gain the much needed industry experience and exposure to work environment.

Locations: Rongai, Kisii, Kitui, Nakuru, Kilifi, Meru.

What you will be doing:

• Execute creative initiatives for tactical marketing across social, web, e-mail, and print channels.
• Help develop ideas and make design choices for all company content.
• Develop graphics, images, videos, and designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design software.
• Prepare rough concept presentations to share with the team, incorporate feedback, and amend designs.
• Work with copywriters, project managers, the marketing team, the creative director, and stakeholders to produce final designs.
• Meet project deadlines.
