About Refugees Life Heroes Organization (RLHO)
Refugees Life Heroes Organization (RLHO) is a refugee-led, community-based organization founded to empower displaced persons and vulnerable communities through sustainable solutions. Based in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, and registered under the Government of Kenya, RLHO works at the grassroots level to address the real challenges faced by refugees, including poverty, unemployment, limited access to education, and mental health struggles.
We believe that refugees are not defined by displacement but by their resilience, strength, and potential to become agents of positive change. Through education, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, and mental health support programs, we equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to society.
Our programs focus on long-term empowerment rather than short-term aid. We promote self-reliance, leadership development, and community transformation by turning challenges into opportunities.
Our Mission
