• Representing the organization in the specified sites in Siaya and Nairobi County.
• Recruiting participants and conducting interviews in strict adherence to the project’s established protocols, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Managing participant identification of the eligible participants based on the project inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Contacting respondents and scheduling MTV YOUTH interviews, and ensuring that the project timelines are observed.

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT UNDER (NAVCDP)

AGRIPRENEUR - 18.09.2023/27.11.2023

• Attended training on how to use both the code and the Kiamis live app.
• Similarly, I was trained to use plus identify the allocated maps for each targeted area, village, or location on a particular ward.
• Collected accurate and quality data from each targeted farming household.
• Presented real-time information, together with geo points of each farmer using the live Kamis and ODK apps, to the national government.
• I worked hand in hand with the village elders, the assistant chief, and the area chief in every farming household.
• Wrote daily reports to our assistant, ward-based, and constituency supervisors on the number of targeted farming households each specific day.
• Collected data on various value chains, i.e., crop, aquaculture, livestock, forestry, and even pets.
• Reported any insecurity faced in the line of work to the area assistant or chief.

• A trainee in value-added procedures on tomato sauce, dried tomato, tomato juice, and marketing strategies.
• Kunya Youth Activity and Development Centre, through technical support from the Kenya Climate Smart Agricultural Project, works towards raising quality seedlings to be supplied at affordable prices in Siaya County.
