Profile & Portfolio

Bioinformatics Scientists, Histotechnologists and Histologic Technicians, Medical Scientists, Molecular and Cellular Biologists, Pathologists

I am a biomedical science graduate from Daystar University, Kenya, with research experience in molecular biology, immunology, and infection biology. I previously worked as a research assistant intern at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), where I contributed to projects in vaccine development, ELISA, Western blotting, and molecular biology techniques. My current research interest focuses on the role of probiotics in mitigating immune dysregulation caused by antibiotic misuse, particularly amoxicillin, with emphasis on gut dysbiosis, inflammation, and antimicrobial resistance in Kenya. Skilled in molecular biology, histology, and cell culture, I am passionate about advancing human health and aspire to pursue a masterโ€™s degree in Biomedical Science as a pathway to a PhD in infection biology and immunology, with the goal of developing innovative solutions to improve health outcomeย
