DAAD Scholarships are available for Master and PhD courses at selected institutions in: Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Choose from a wide range of disciplines, including:

Who can apply?
- Graduates and postgraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa with a first academic degree if applying for a Master programme, or with a Master’s degree if applying for a PhD programme.
- Female applicants and candidates from less privileged regions or groups are especially encouraged to participate in the programme!
Your benefits:
Monthly individual scholarship payments, payment of tuitions fees, research allowances, and options for a research stay abroad (subject to funding and a successful application).
