KUCCPS Application for Diploma and Certificate Placements to TVET Institutions – September 2024 Intake

KUCCPS APPLICATION FOR PLACEMENT OF STUDENTS TO TVET INSTITUTIONS SEPTEMBER 2024 INTAKE

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the application portal for placement of students to public Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions for the September 2024 Intake.

The application targets studewnts who sat the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination from year 2000 to 2023.

Minimum Requirements

1. For Diploma, Mean Grade of C –
2. For Carft Certificate, Mean Grade of D
3. For Artisan Certificate, Mean Grade of E

How to Apply

Log in to the KUCCPS Student’s Portal students.kuccps.net and apply following these steps.

1. Access the Student’s Portal using the link https://students.kuccps.net  or through the KUCCPS website https://www.kuccps.ac.ke
2. Click the Login tab and input your KCSE Index Number, KCSE year and Password in the provided slots. Your password is your birth certificate number or your KCPE Index number
3. Once logged in, click “Programmes” to view available courses and their minimum requirements. Applicants will only be able to apply for courses where they meet minimum requirements.
4. Once you have decided on your preferred courses, you will be required to enter the Programme Codes.
5. To apply, click the “Application/Revision” tab then “Apply Now”.
6. Enter the Programme Codes in the provided form, arranging them in your order of priority.
7. After entering the programme codes for the courses that you are applying for, click Submit.
8. On submitting, you will be required to pay Ksh1,500 and the portal will display the paymentinstructions. Follow the payment instructions.
9. After paying, enter the payment ref. in the provided slot and submit.
10. Your successful application will appear as “Active Application” on the Dashboard.
